Meet The Team!

My name is Gavin Gravelle, and I am the founder of Kickstart Soccer FC. I am 15 years old  and I currently  play soccer for the club team Inter CT FC. During the fall I play for the Staples High School soccer team. I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old, and have always had a love for the game. I started my soccer career playing Westport Travel Soccer, and have been in the Westport Soccer system for years now. We wanted to start this program to share our expertise and love for the game with the kids in our community. Our goal is to provide your kids with the skills, attitude, and enthusiasm to make them great soccer players.

My name is Luca Caniato. I’m 15 years old and play for one of our local club teams Beachside, for one of their northeast academy teams. I’m a big Italian soccer fan, I spend a lot of my time watching games and replays. When I’m not watching soccer, I’m either studying or playing soccer. After friends and family, soccer is the most important thing to me in my life, it brings me so much joy. I love to coach and train with others whether it’s my friends, brother, neighbors, or someone that I meet at a field. I love to assist others and help them to become successful on and off the soccer field. 

My name is Sebi Cruz. I began playing the sport of soccer at age two and have practiced in excess ever since. I began my journey at Inter FC, where I developed my skills for several years. Eventually I moved to Beachside and played on their 2007 Northeast Academy League team. I have played here for the past two years and I am expecting to be moved up to their MLS Next academy next year. This year I also played for Staples High School and was the captain of the freshman team this year. Next year I’ve also been asked to play on Staples Varsity. Through all of these qualifications, I have learned leadership skills, technical skills, and perseverance and know what it takes in order to improve at the game and am ready to teach it to the next generation.
